Oh man, this picture is like fast forwarding 13 years to the brooding teenager faze. Scary!!

It has been SO COLD here this winter - for most of December it was in the 20's (or below!) and January has been 30's and 40's. Not too much snow, but the low temps make it hard for us to get outside too often. However, this temporary stay-at-home-mom goes stir crazy if we don't get out at least a few times during the week, so we have been braving the chill and going to the park.
Will prefers warm baths instead!

Our little Will is 2 months old already!
The last few weeks have been great - he is becoming so much more calm and mellow. I was a bit worried in the beginning because he required so much more attention than Finn did, but I think we've figured each other out now, and it's smooth sailing. He still likes to be bounced to sleep, but also loves to lay on his play mat or on a blanket and just check out the world. He isn't taking a bottle too well - we are still working on that one.
He is giving us lots of smiles and is starting to make lots of little noises and sounds. I could just sit and stare at him for hours.
Sleeping is getting better too - only waking up a couple of times at night the last few nights...I hope it's the beginning of a new trend!
We have more clothes than we know what to do with - I think I could not do laundry for about 3 weeks before I'd see the bottom of any of his drawers (bless all those wonderful people who gave us hand me downs!!) and I love pulling out his little onesies and remembering when Finn used to wear them. It's crazy though, how much longer that Will is than Finn was - I'm already pulling out things from the 3-6 month box. Here is one of Daddy's favorites:

Wow, happy new year everyone! We are looking forward to an exciting year. Watching our boys become sweet buddies, a new job for me, college graduation for Mike...and hopefully a couple of small vacations for all of us. Mike and I want to get fit and do the Longmont Annual Triathlon together. Most of all, we are hoping for loads of love and laughs and plenty of time with family and friends. Here's to a great twenty ten!
