Enjoying the Snow

After several months of mild temperatures and only a couple of dustings of snow, we finally got our first decent storm of the season.

Good idea: Checking out the snow from a heat vent.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a great day that started with a trip to see Santa!

Finn and Will got to open one present after dinner...

Sweet PJ boys

This was the first year that Finn understood Santa, and he was beyond excited the night before Christmas. He left him cookies and a carrot for the reindeer and left a note: "I love you Santa!"

Christmas Cookies

For many years, my mom and I have made cookies and candy before Christmas. Finn loves to help!
Will is ready to help too!

Beach Vacation!

How lucky are we that we got to take the boys to Cancun for a week? (Pretty lucky!) It was a great week!

My little water angel

One of Mike's graduation present was 5 dives over three days - he enjoyed every minute!

Finn is a little diver in training

Will was not a fan of the sand!

Poolside snooze

This is where we spent most of the time, by the great kids pool that Finn just loved.

Our last day, the boys snuggling in bed eating Fruit Loops
Fantastic week :)

So, so much to be thankful for this year - Mike is out of school, our two ridiculously awesome boys, and we are happy as clams. I was pretty lame on the picture-taking front, here is the two main events of our holiday this year:

Mike, Jana, and I did the First Annual Wootton Turkey Trot, 5K race. This was a serious feat, as it was around 20 degrees outside. Brrrr!

Here is the annual 'olives on the fingers' picture - check out last years for comparison.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Celebrating the boys

Today we had the Double Dub Bash - celebrating Will turning 1 and Mike graduating. We could not have asked for better weather with temps in the low 70s - so high for November! We were so happy to celebrate outside and the kids all had a blast.

Opening presents
Very excited about his new Converse sneakers
Loving the blanket his Auntie J knitted. So soft and beautiful!

Cake time!

Some serious leaf jumping with the kids
Happy birthday, little one!

Will is One!

Wow, our little Will is now one. I can hardly believe how fast his first year has gone by - so cliche, but true. Here is his first year in videos :)

Mike Graduates!

Well, it's been a crazy couple of years, but Mike officially kicked butt and finished his Bachelors of Science in Business with a focus in Accounting. He worked his tail off and ended up with a 3.8 GPA.

I was able to pull off an awesome surprise for him with the help of our amazing friends in family. You did it, honey!

Last Halloween, I was 3 days past my due date with Will, wondering if I would be having a Halloween baby! Well, we all know how that turned out :) It was fun celebrating Halloween with our little dragons, especially since Finn was SO excited this year.

Last year, Finn couldn't reach any of the doorbells. This year, he reached them easily. It was a trip.
Will was content in the stroller, and everyone gave Finn an extra candy when they saw him.

Pre-Halloween Fun

Mike signed us up to run the Eerie Erie, a nearby 5K race the day before Halloween. The boys were dressed like dragons and ready to go!

Snuggles with the boy, post-race

That night, we went to Mark and Jamie's for some pumpkin carving fun
